Steam's library is constantly growing larger and larger every day, and finding great games to enjoy on the Steam Deck can sometimes be difficult. That's where Valve's Verified system comes in. This is a special system that will check the game to see if it's a "great experience" for the Deck. It isn't a perfect system, and it has some issues, but it's still wonderful to see that green checkmark. And today, we passed a huge milestone as we have hit over 25,000 games on Steam that have been rated either Verified or Playable.

Today, we can officially say that we have over 25,000 games that have the Steam Deck Verified or Playable badge. This was confirmed over on SteamDB, where we have filtered the games that are Verified or Playable in the instant search, and it shows 25,010 games that are either Verified or Playable. The actual count on the Steam store is going to be different, as SteamDB also includes delisted games in its count.

With newly verified and Playable games like CAIRN and Once Upon a Shell, it's no wonder that we hit the landmark so quickly. It's important to note that Verified or Playable games don't mean that the title is automatically great to play on the Deck, but it is a good indicator of whether a game can run or not. Despite the issues with the system itself, I would still celebrate as we see more and more games support the Deck in whatever way they can.
