AYANEO has just announced that the Indiegogo campaign for its new AYANEO FLIP 1S handhelds is live. This is an upgrade on the original FLIP handheld. Primarily, we're seeing a big boost in screen quality and a slight boost in the APU used. Both the DS (Dual Screen) and KB (Keyboard) models are available, depending on your preference, with the DS model selling for a slightly higher price.
Here's an infographic that shows you the different configurations that are available, as well as their pricing. Currently, there are still some Early Bird offers available, so you can grab them early for a bit of a discount. AYANEO products historically go up in price once the Indiegogo campaign ends, so this is probably the cheapest you'll be able to pick them up new from the factory.
The AYANEO FLIP 1S DS model features a 1920x1080 7" 144Hz HDR OLED display at the top, with a 4.5" 1620x1080 screen at the bottom, which contains an aspect ratio which might be more favorable to retro gaming uses. The casing itself is made from CNC metal. Internally, the device features either the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or the Ryzen 7 8840U.
Likewise, the AYANEO FLIP 1S KB model brings the same 1920x1080 7" 144Hz HDR OLED display, and swaps the bottom screen for a full-function RGB keyboard. The casing is likewise full-metal, and we have the same choice of APU and control scheme, aside from swapping the screen for the keyboard.
Both feature 2x USB 4 ports, which support charging and display out.

The secondary screen integrates functions such as data monitoring, performance settings, quick settings controls, quick applications, and intelligent dual-screen, and also supports virtual keyboard and trackpad operations. Coupled with the self-developed "Dual-Screen Key", it enables convenient window management and input control, creating an efficient multi-dimensional interactive experience.

The all-new stepless hinge design supports hovering at any angle from 0° to 180°. Meaning you'll be able to adjust the screen to be at a comfortable angle for your situation.
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 equipped in the higher-end models is pretty much as premium as we can get in current handhelds, allowing you to play pretty much any AAA title currently on the market, exceeding the power of handhelds like the ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go.

If you do want a cheaper option, the 8840U is a solid choice too, with performance largely similar to the ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go's Ryzen Z1 Extreme APUs.

The FLIP 1S uses AYANEO's tried and tested Vapor Chamber + Air Cooling system, which lets the devices stay at a good temperature even when under load, with smart battery functions to help keep your battery healthy even when plugged in.

The FLIP 1S also uses TMR electromagnetic joysticks with low latency and a high polling rate to give you a high precision experience. The triggers are also Hall Effect.

If you're ok to splash some extra cash, there's also a "Retro Power" edition for the higher-end models for that unique look. Alternatively, you do have the options of Black for the lower models, with Yellow being introduced for the mid-range models.

You can get your own AYANEO FLIP 1S over on their Indiegogo campaign.
