It should. I had the same issue on the Deck, so my guess is probably yes.

Like i can click on it, there is no lag at all, the game process is running all fine, it's just nothing happens when I press the login button.
So do the mentioned steps work for this issue as well?

I'm on vanilla arch Linux, i3wm, installed the game via non-steam game method. I have tried 2 different versions of cachyos-proton(very recent ones) and also the Last protonGE-10.25 as well. All of them are available to run the game well, but cannot go past the login button after booting the game.
