Valve has been kicking off when it comes to their hardware offerings lately, and I couldn't be more excited. Specifically, I am most looking forward to the Steam Machine and Steam Controller to complete my home PC gaming ecosystem. The Steam Machine looks to take in a lot of the software and lessons learned from the Steam Deck and bring them to a home console, and with it coming closer to release, we now have a fresh look at the startup video it will use.

Posted by Brad Lynch, or SadlyItsBradley on Twitter/X, the startup video for the Steam Machine was datamined from Steam, and although short, it is quite cool to see with a great animation for the box:
The startup video still seems to be in development, as there is no audio currently, but it shows what it will most likely look like when the device is released. However, that hasn't stopped the community from trying to make their own version either! We have seen some unique custom "GabeCube" startup videos, and there is even someone who added custom audio to this video and uploaded it on Steam Deck Repo for us to use on our Steam Decks:
You can download the startup video for yourself and install it via the Steam Deck Repo Manager or just download it from the website directly. Either way, it's awesome to see, and I can't wait for the Steam Machine to release next year.
