NonSteamLaunchers has been getting some consistent updates lately, and it has been a joy to see. This is a script that makes it exceptionally easy to install third-party stores and launchers, like Epic Store and Hytale, and set up some streaming shortcuts, like Xbox Cloud Streaming, on the Steam Deck. It's easy and intuitive, and it just got a new update to add even more launchers and browsers for us to install.

NonSteamLaunchers' 4.2.85 update is here, and while it has some new options, the highlight for me is SD Card support coming back. Before this update, SD Card support was removed, but now, we can move everything over to the SD Card again. This means launchers and installed games through NonSteamLaunchers should be movable to an external SD card if desired. It's not something I would do, since using one for games can slow them down, but I like having the option.

On top of this, we also have support for the Big Fish Games Manager. This is a launcher that includes lots of point-and-click games, though a lot of these games are also on Steam. We can also now install the LibreWolf and Vivaldi browsers through the script. Both of these are privacy-focused browsers that could replace Firefox or Google Chrome to browse the web.

You can check out the full patch notes for V4.2.85 here. If you already have NonSteamLaunchers installed, simply running it should update you to the latest version.
