Anbernic's upcoming RG DS has been extremely exciting to see. The device looks very much like a Nintendo DSi, which is extremely nostalgic, but it also is going to be releasing for under $100, which is still nuts to think about. While there hasn't been any announcement about when the device will be released and the exact pricing, Anbernic has released another video, showing off more features of the dual-screen setup, and it's quite nice to see.
In the video, we get confirmation that both screens act individually and can do more than just play games on it. The first clip shows Mother 3 running on the top screen, while the bottom screen has a guide to read, while the second clip shows the user playing Dragon Ball on the bottom screen while watching a video on the top screen. After that, we get some more gameplay, starting off with two 3DS games: Harvest Moon 3D: The Tale of Two Towns and MapleStory: Girl of Destiny. After that, we get some more DS showcases, with Love Plus+ showing us sideways gameplay, then moving over to Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, New Super Mario Bros., Okamiden: Chiisaki Taiyo, and ending it with Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.
It's nice to see the capabilities and what kind of functions we can utilize for the device, though the most interesting part of the video actually came in that first clip with Mother 3. When they are using the bottom screen and scrolling with their finger, it appears that they press the R button at the bottom left to switch back to the top screen. This means that we can't just start using the Dpad and ABXY buttons to immediately play after using that bottom screen; we will have to manually switch back. Not a huge deal, but still interesting to point out.

The video then ends showing off the white, light blue, and red with black renders. We also get a better look at the right side of the device, showing off the volume buttons and what could be a power button. Either way, I am super excited to see more, and I hope Anbernic gives us a release date and price range soon!
